Located in Av. da República, one of the main avenues of Lisbon, DL Valmor has 12 exclusive suites and it was designed based on the Portuguese Country House model, with its neo-classic and eclectic style, works of art and antiques. The furniture used serves to balance the time-travel effect and bring us nowadays comfort.
The Mansion
Viscount of Valmor Mansion was designed in 1906 by Miguel Ventura Terra to the widow of Viscount Valmor, D. Josefina Clarisse de Oliveira and was immediately awarded the Valmor Prize. From 1983 to 2017 the house was used to host a Businessmen’s Club and its sophisticated restaurant. This noble house is a landamrk in Lisbon and easily recognizable from all Lisboetas.
Neighbourhood
Avenida da República is one of the main avenues of Lisbon. It connects Entrecampos and Saldanha. The neighbourhoods around this avenue are occupied with local families and offices. Near our house, you can find Campo Pequeno Bullring Square, Saldanha Square and the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and its gardens.
Our suites
The respectful approach to this project provides us with the opportunity to design 12 singular and spacious suites. The eclectic and neo-classic architecture elements are now disrupted with carefully chosen contemporary design elements. The perfect harmony between history and today is waiting for you.
